DAO Participation Requirements and Restrictions
Erratic has observed that the majority of DAOs in current WEB3 projects are not functioning as intended. We believe the main reasons are as follows:
Unequal Distribution of Voting Power: Voting results are controlled by a minority.
Lack of Beneficial and Innovative Proposals: There are too few proposals that benefit the project’s development and user interests, and they often lack innovation.
Insufficient Attention to Winning Proposals: Winning proposals do not receive adequate attention.
Flaws in DAO Mechanism Design: Design flaws in DAO mechanisms result in an excessive number of ineffective proposals.
The core framework of Erratic Finance and E-Box is modularity, with nearly unlimited scalability and iteration capabilities. Misuse of the DAO could lead to the project becoming completely unmanageable.
➥ To prevent the aforementioned issues, we have established strict requirements and restrictions for participating in the DAO:
1. EIM holders
2. At least have one of the special Discord roles: @Erratician @Ambassador @Erratic OG
3. EP ≥ 15000
Voting Threshold: If a proposal does not reach a total of 3000 votes by the deadline, it will be automatically canceled.
Equal Voting Rights: There is no allocation system for voting rights, everyone is equal.
Voting Frequency: For each ongoing voting activity, each user can vote only once per day.
Proposal Cleanup: The team will periodically remove proposals that clearly violate DAO regulations.
The rules regarding participation in the Erratic DAO may change at any time, so please stay tuned.
